Chili- we took you in late in life. We suspected you wouldn’t be with us long and wanted to make sure you were comfortable and safe. You were not into playtime with us or long pets- but a simple scritch and loads of dried papaya were much appreciated. We miss your greetings and your begging for treats. The room feels empty and quiet now. We were lucky to have you with us for years. You weren’t alone at the end, and we hope all is peaceful now. We miss you a lot already.
