Widget Murphy passed away at Anamosa Veterinary Clinic on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was the beloved pet of Daniel & Jacqueline Murphy and Mr. Biggles Widget's brother, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Widget was a lover of cuddles, socks, new baskets, and boxes. Widget could be heard throughout their home meowing and hunting socks. Widget was 11 years old. She was born in August 2010 and rescued from Cedar Rapids Animal Shelter in August 2011. Her beautiful eyes caught my attention and she became my daughter. Widget developed bone Cancer in the summer of 2021, she was place on pet hospice care through Anamosa Vet Clinic. Widget passed away surrounded by her loving parents. ❤
